MLZ is a cooperation between:> Technische Universität München> Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht> Forschungszentrum Jülich
The scientific computing group supports the instrument scientists and their users in all questions related to data analysis. Dedicated data-analysis software for neutron scattering is developed and maintained. Open-source software is preferred and contributions for open-source projects are made. Efforts to standardize data formats are coordinated by the group.
The group represents the MLZ in national and international data management initiatives:
• PNI-HDRI High Data Rate Processing and Analysis Initiative
• PaNdata Photon and Neutron Data Infrastructure
• NeXus A common data format for neutron, x-ray and muon science
